1846 Report of the Joint Standing Committee on the Insane Hospital. The committee visited the hospital and reviewed the reports of the trustees,
treasurer, steward, and superintendent of the hospital. Following an assessment, the committee attached a resolve to take the census of the insane
person and "idiots" in the state, as well as for appropriations of $23,650 for the hospital. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by
