1831 Report of the House Committee on the resolve in favor of Charles Miller and Mr. Glidden, who were contracted to complete an stretch of the
Canada Road, as well as the petition of Samuel Searle, charged with reviewing the work done in that area. Searle's petition was included; the committee
did not make a final decision regarding whether the two agents should be paid at that time, but requested that the House do decide. (Digitized from a
