Lawes of Virginia now in force, printed in London in 1662 which was collected out of the General Assembly records and digested by Francis Moryson.
Of note, the second copy contained an additional preface, which indicated that this law primarily dealt with the control of the tobacco trade, although
the table of contents demonstrated that there were many other laws listed. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library
of Congress (c.1) and the Johns Hopkins University Library in Baltimore, Maryland (c.2)).
Title:   The lawes of Virginia now in force : collected out of the Assembly records and digested into one volume : revised and confirmed by the Grand Assembly held at James-City by prorogation the 23d of March 1661, in the 13th year of the reign of our soveraign lord King Charles the II.
