1831 Report submitted by the Auditor, Treasurer, and Second auditor concerning if there are any legal claims from General Thomas Nelson's heirs for
payments from the state. The claims would stem from expenditures make to Virginia by the general during the Revolutionary War. After consideration the
authors concluded that no legal claim could be based on the evidence thus presented. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
