1848 Preamble and Resolutions to transfer the interest of Virginia in certain money to the Orange and Alexandria Railroad Company. The General
Assembly sought a refund of money and interest paid to the federal government when part of the land ceded to the District of Columbia was returned to
Virginia; in addition, the state asked that these sums to transferred to the railroad company. Of note, the date of passage was left blank in this
