Statement of the population of Virginia, prepared following the resolution of the Virginia Reform Convention in October 24, 1850. Included in this
table were the population of white, slave, and freed blacks in Virginia; the federal population from the 1830 and 1840 censuses; the land and property
tax from 1830, 1840 and 1848,; the white titheables (head tax) for for those same years; and the back titheables for 1848, all by counties.

Title:   A statement of the white, slave and free coloured population of Virginia, and of the federal population, as exhibited in the census of 1830 and 1840 : also of the land and property tax, for the years 1830, 1840, and 1848 : also of the white titheables for 1830, 1840, and 1848, and of the black titheables for 1848 : arranged into counties and districts, and / prepared by the First Auditor in compliance with a resolution of the House of Delegates, adopted 24th October, 1850.
