1775-03-20, Proceedings of the Convention of Delegates (Purdie)
March 20, 1775 Journal of the proceeding of the Convention held at Richmond, Virginia and printed by Alexander Purdie. Included was a resolution
unanimously approving of the proceedings of the Continental Congress (March 22, 1775), as well as various other issues involving government, militia,
commerce, and other relevant topics. Significantly, a resolution was passed to provide for a militia on the same and following days (March 23-24, 1775)
as Patrick Henry's famous "Give me liberty, or give me death" speech to the convention. See LLMC #22157 and 22163 for related documents.
