1775-12-01, Ordinances passed at a Convention
December 1, 1775 ordinances passed at the convention held at Williamsburg, Virginia. Included in the ordinances were those regarding the militia and
the raising of arms, the appointment of sheriffs, the selection of delegates to the Committee of Safety (an amendment) and other officials, as well
as related issues. Of note, an ordinance beginning on page 29 detailed the punishment for the enemies to America who acted in various enumerated ways.
