1860 Report of the Committee on Internal Improvements regarding an amendment to the charter of the Western North Carolina Railroad. The recommended
bill was necessary for the completion of this road with a branch down French Broad, which will act as a feeder to all the improvements connecting it
on the Atlantic slope. Various supporting documents and tables were also included in this document. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles
