1859? Report of the Committee on the Neuse River Navigation Company regarding the improvement status of that river between Newbern, Craven County and
Smithfield, Johnston County. The committee concluded that the work was imprudently begun, debts were compiled, and that a compromise for repayment
of outstanding liabilities should be made from certain subscriptions. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the University of
