Senate. Comm. on Internal Improvements. Report, 1855
|
|
1855 Report of the Senate Committee on Internal Improvements which strongly encouraged the passage of a number of railroad and navigation bills. In so doing, the committee argued that the past inaction of North Carolina resulted in a diminution of population and economic success. The committee also strongly argued that the benefits and money should be equalized throughout the state. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
