1840? Report of the Committee of Privileges and Elections regarding the petition of Elisha Melton complaining of the election of Joseph Lipscomb as
the delegate of Louisa County. The committee initially rejected Melton's memorial; however the House disagreed and the contested votes were examined.
The committee concluded that after illegal votes were deducted, Elisha Melton was duly elected. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally
