1828? Report of the Select House Committee to review the resolution of Georgia and South Carolina on their opposition to the the federal government's
imposition of tariffs on foreign manufactured goods and for appropriating funds for internal improvements in some regions of the country. The
committee concurred with those positions in its resolutions. Of note, in the final page of the report, the committee noted that the Colonization Society,
which assisted free people of color emigrate to Liberia, was a "dangerous character" with impracticable schemes. See LLMC #22820-21 for related
