1863 Report of the Joint Committee reviewing the report of the Board of Public Works, acting as salt works supervisors. The committee determined
that the failure of the superintendent to provide the expected salt amounts required in the March 30, 1863 act were not due to his failure, but numerous
obstacles. Suggested changes to the act were included to assist in meeting the goals. See #22628 for a related document. (Digitized from a
