Revisors of the Circuit Sup. Cts. Report, 1848
February 12, 1848 Report of the Revisors on the Circuit Superior Courts, which contained both the report and proposed bill. The report suggested
that general court sessions only require five judges rather than the fifteen required by law. The bill addressed that and more changes as it abolished
the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery; divided the state into 16 circuits instead of 22; and established a Superior Court in lieu of the
General Court. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
