Gen. Assembly. Comm. of Revisors. Report, 1784
Report of the Committee of Revisors appointed by the Virginia General Assembly in 1776, in light of the change of government. The Committee proposed
some 126 bills to reinforce citizens' rights and to remove laws that the Parliament in London had imposed on the colonies In a subsequent order by
the General Assembly, the report was reissued in 1784, with the set of bills contained in that revision. A complete list is printed on pages 4-5
followed by the text of the bills. Of note, Thomas Jefferson was a member of the 1776 committee. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held
