1824 House Committee Report on the Lunatic Hospital in Williamsburg which examined the conditions and needs of the hospital, as well as the financial
accounts of public money expenditures. After consideration, the committee resolved that another hospital should be built between the Blue Ridge and
the ocean, and that an addition be built for female inmates in the current hospital in Williamsburg. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
