1796, Commissioners to Treat with the Creek Indians. Journal (MS) 2v
April-July 1796 Journal of the commissioners of Georgia appointed to represent the state for a treaty, held under the authority of the United States,
for the purpose of obtaining a relinquishment of the claims of the Creek Indians to certain lands, as contemplated in the Act of the State of
December 27, 1794. Also included was an account of the state with respect to same. The meeting with the Creek Indians was unsuccessful.
