1835, Joint Comm. on Federal Relations. Report on institution of domestic slavery
1835 Joint Committee of Federal Relations regarding slavery, and the "incendiary proceedings of the Abolitionists" in the non-slaveholding states.
Various resolutions were passed asserting the right of the state to be free from interference, and against the use of the mail to become a "vehicle"
for abolitionist material. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Duke University Library in Durham, North Carolina).
