1850 House bill which allowed for the incorporation of the Raleigh and Roanoke Rail Road, which would take over the corporate rights, debts, and
responsibilities of the Raleigh and Gaston Rail Road Company. The original railroad fell into disrepair, and this bill allowed for an infusion of stock
by subscription to facilitate these repairs with further state funds. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of
