1753-10, Treaty held with the Ohio Indians

October 1753 Treaty at Carlisle, which was reported to Governor James Hamilton of Pennsylvania by various Commissioners appointed to negotiate with the Ohio Indians. Of note, the commissioners included Benjamin Franklin, who also printed this document in Philadelphia in 1753. Included were discussion about the French during the French-Indian war, as well as dissuading on chief from going to Virginia to seek the release of several warriors.
