1748-07-23, Treaty with some Chiefs of the Six Nations
July 1748 Treaty held in Lancaster between the Six Nations and the Province of Pennsylvania. Included were rights to land and trade to Pennsylvania
and established friendship between Pennsylvania and the Ohio River groups, including "Twightwee" or Miami tribes. This publication was printed by
Benjamin Franklin in Philadelphia in 1748. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by Yale University Library in New Haven, Connecticut

Title:   A treaty held by Commissioners, members of the Council of the province of Pennsylvania, at the town of Lancaster, with some chiefs of the Six Nations at Ohio, and others, for the admission of the Twightwee Nation into the alliance of his Majesty, &c. in the month of July, 1748.
