1849, Governor. Extradition from Ohio of fugitive slave
March 9, 1849 communication of Governor John B. Floyd, with attachments, to the House of Delegates. The governor informed the House that he had
requested the Ohio governor to extradite a fugitive slave charged with a felony, back to Virginia, and that Ohio refused to comply, citing an improper
