Description and Holding Information
1765-09-01, Constitutional courant,
September 1, 1765 Single edition of the Constitutional Courant. Although issued in a newspaper format, the item is essentially a broadside. It
appears in two "states". The first contained three anti-Stamp Act essays signed with three different pseudonyms and a brief mention of the recent changes
the London government. The second, actually published in New Jersey, was printed only on the verso and contained only the first of the three essays.
