1757, Letter from Gentleman in Philadelphia
|
|
1757 Letter from a Gentleman in Philadelphia to a freeholder in Northampton County. This letter challenged the petition which claimed that the election of William Plumsted was illegal and thus he should not be seated a Representative of this county. The author claimed that the House resented Plumsted following his remonstrance of some of its actions. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of the title originally held by the Historical Society of Pennsylvania Library)
