1764-03-13, Proclamation on NY-NH boundary dispute
March 13, 1763 Proclamation by Governor Benning Wentworth regarding the dispute with New York and New Hampshire over the boundary. This document is
in response to Gov. Colden's assertion in a proclamation dated December 28, 1763 of land grant rights over territory east of the Connecticut River.
This latter document is not included in the Early State Record Collection (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the New Hampshire
Historical Society).

A proclamation : Whereas His Honor Cadwallader Colden, Esq.; lieutenant-governor ... of New-York, hath lately issued a proclamation, of a very extraordinary nature, setting forth, that King Charles the Second, on the 12 day of March, 1663-64, and the 29th June 1674 ... Given at the Council-chamber in Portsmouth, the 13th day of March, 1764.
