May 31, 1699 address of the ministers of Massachusetts Bay Province, written by Increase Mathers, and sent to Governor Coote, Earl of Bellomont.
Included were compliments to the governor and his past acts, and the relationship of the Scottish and this colony's non-conformist churches. Of note a
small portion of the second page had been covered, so as to make the words unreadable. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of a title originally held by
the Massachusetts Historical Society Library).
