1760-10-31, Privy Council orders on proclaming King George III (MS)
Document 1: Wrapper: Octr. 31 Oct 1760 Orders from the Privy Council to the Proprietors to cause his present Majesty to be proclaimed in Penna.
Received the 19th of January 1761, proclaimed the 21st. The Lord called King George II to rest, so the Province was to follow the directions for
ceremonies and proclamations to present King George III to the citizens. Seven members of the Privy Council signed. Document 2: Wrapper: Jany.

1760. Transcribed and presented at the Court House on the 21st of January signed by the Governor and the Council. Entered. With the passing of King
George 2d, all the Crown's lands, as listed, passed to his son, now King George 3d. Given at Philadelphia 21st day of January 1761. "God save the
