House. Select Comm. on Forfeiture of R.R. Charters. Minority report, 1839
1839 Minority report of the Select Committee determining whether the Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland Rail Road Company and the Newcastle and
Frenchtown Turnpiked and Rail Road Company have not forfeited their charters. After noting that the former company was in fact the Philadelphia,
Wilmington and Baltimore Rail Road, the minority then disagreed with the majority's conclusion that any charters were violated. Other issues were also
discussed regarding the charge of tolls. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
