November 7, 1716 Broadside of the speech of Gov. Samuel Shute of Massachusetts Bay and Connecticut to the Council and General Assembly in Boston.
This speech appeared to be his initial speech to the assembly following his appointment by King George I. Of note, during his tenure, there were many
disagreements with the Massachusetts assembly. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library
