1698-06-16, Against breaking God's laws, Boston
April 2, 1698 Broadside issued by Gov. Richard Coote, 1st Earl of Bellomont. This proclamation ordered that all inhabitants in Boston should obey
the laws of God, and not swear, act lewdly, break the Sabbath, and other such immoral behavior. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally

Massachusetts (c.3), and the American Antiquarian Society Library in Worcester, Massachusetts (c.4)).
