New Haven Cty. Med. Soc. Repeal of Sec. 8 report, 1837
|
|
1837 report of the New Haven County Medical Society on the expediency of repealing the eighth section of the Medical Laws of Connecticut. This section required physicians to be licensed and members of the Medical Society (or be unable to collect fees); this society wished to continue to exclude "irregular practitioners" both to ensure able physicians and to protect the public. See, LLMC #20100 for a related document. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Connecticut Historical Society Library).
