June 19, 1772 broadside issued by Gov. Jonathan Trumbull of Connecticut from Lebanon, which barred the export of a variety of grains grown in the
colony to July 15th. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library (c.1) and the Massachusetts
Historical Society Library (c.2)).
Title:   By the Honorable Jonathan Trumbull, Esq ; governor of the English colony of Connecticut, in New-England, in America ; a proclamation : ... I do hereby strictly prohibit and forbid the transporting or shipping on board any vessel for transportation out of this colony, wheat, rye, Indian-corn, or any other grain ... Given under my hand at Lebanon, this twenty-ninth day of June ... 1772.
