October 30, 1790 broadside issued by the Connecticut Council resolving to allow aid for New Haven, Connecticut during a yellow fever epidemic. The
Council requested various religious congregations request contributions on the first Sunday in January. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles
originally held by the Yale University Library, New Haven, Connecticut).
Title:   At a meeting of the governor and Council, in the Council chamber at Middletown, on the 30th day of October, A.D. 1794 : Upon the memorial and representation of the civil authority and selectmen of the town of New-Haven ... It is therefore resolved by this board, that ... it hereby is, recommended to the several Christian churches and congregations in this state ... to contribute ... to the relief of those who have been afflicted with ... the said yellow fever ...
