1834 report of the Joint Committee, following a message from the Connecticut governor, relating to the Bank of the United States, the country's
currency, and various other actions by the president and federal government. The committee determined that a National Bank could constitutional be
established. The committee then considered other issues relevant to the bank. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Connecticut
