1843 Report of a special committee appointed by the Connecticut General Assembly to review past laws concerning the collection of debts, attachment
laws, and the recently past law regarding the imprisonment for debts. The committee recommended a few changes to the that debtor imprisonment law,
which were incorporated in an attached proposed bill. The committee also indicated that it needed additional time to review the attachment laws.
