Title:   By the Honorable, the Council of His Majesties province of the Massachusetts-Bay in New-England. A proclamation for a general fast : ... We have thought fit to order and appoint Thursday the thirty-first day of March currant, to be observed throughout this province for fasting and prayer to Almighty God, forbiding all servile labour thereon ... Given at the Council chamber in Boston, the second day of March 1714.
