December 22, 1773 broadside which detailed the Boston Tea Party. Entitled "On Tuesday night arrived at this city a gentleman, who came express from Boston, with the following interesting intelligence," this was recounting from this person who saw the Boston Tea Party. The broadside initially discussed a meeting with Mr. Rotch, owner of the Dartmouth, who claimed economic ruin if he complied with the tea injunction established by the Committee of Correspondence. The letter then discussed the subsequent actions involved by the "Tea Party," culminating in several notes between New York and Boston. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
