July 1742 Treaty of the Six Nations, comprised of the Iroquois nations of the Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Seneca and Tuscarora people, which was held in Philadelphia. This document was published by Benjamin Franklin in 1743 in Philadelphia. The negotiating teams included the chiefs of the Six Nations, as well as the chief of the Shawnee tribe, and Lt. Gov. George Thomas. Included in the discussions were concerns over various lands and issues relating to past treaties, as well as payments and exchanges of presents.
