Copies of various editions of The Mental Elevator published by the Seneca Nation between 1841-1850. Of note, this paper was the first effort of the
sort in the Seneca language, and was designed for the spiritual and intellectual benefit of the Indians. It was printed at the Seneca Mission
Station, with occasional references in English. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
