Substantial, scattered editions of the Pensacola Gazette and West Florida Advertiser published from 1824 to 1830. These periodicals were issued more or less weekly, and contained a variety of topics and news. Included were items such as legislative and court news and proceedings, local and foreign reports, commercial information including shipping news, as well as the typical advertisements, letters to the editor, and public notices. Some copies also had literary sections, mostly poetry. Of note, the latter editions had substantially better printing than the earlier versions.
