Pamphlet entitled "The Importance of the Colonies of North, America and the interest of Great Britain with regard to them, considered; together with Remarks on the Stamp-duty," by Nicholas Ray. This self-published pamphlet was printed in London and reprinted in New York in 1766. Beginning with comments regarding the "disobedience" of the colonies, served a warning to prevent the colonies from becoming "enemies of our friends and fellow subjects."
