Description and Holding Information
1711 & 1721, Lords of Trade reply to Governor of New York. New Jersey appropriations bill
November 13, 1711 reply from the Lords of Trade and Plantations to Governor Robert Hunter supporting the Council's amendment of money bills, and
against the actions of the New York Assembly (p. 17). A second document (pp. 18-31) is an appropriation bill passed by the New Jersey Assembly reprinted
in two columns. The column on the left side of the page reprints the law as passed by the colonial assembly; on the right is the law as confirmed with
the additions and changes made by the colony's Council on May 5, 1721. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New Jersey

Title:   A Letter from the Lords of Trade and Plantations to his Excellency Robert Hunter, Esq., Captain General and Governour in Chief of the Province of New-York &c. concerning the Council's amending of money bills. An act as it was passed by the Assembly of New-Jersey the 3d day of May, 1721 and as it was amended and passed by His Majesty's Council of said Province.
