Grenada's session laws were published annually, including ordinances, Orders-in-Council, and UK laws and orders that affected the colony, printed in Grenada at the Government Printing Office. In the early years of the 20th century, there was no indexing at all, but beginning in 1916, there was indexing and a laws affected table for most issues. During both world wars, there were laws devoted to trading with the enemy and treatment of enemy aliens. Substantial attention was given to the following: 1926, major revision to Companies, 1931, water supply, 1937, administrative jurisdictions, 1934, labor laws, 1936, married women and their property, 1938, motor vehicles, 1940, police force established, 1944, trade unions, 1945, land title and nutmeg industry, 1946, slum clearance, 1947, quarantine, especially ships, 1950, currency control, 1954 friendly societies consolidation, 1955 began the law codification process, 1956, improved property transfer to help small farmers, 1958 large revision to factories and customs duties, 1960, electrical supply and sale, 1964, cocoa industry, 1965, prison reform, 1966, gambling, 1967, banana industry, 1969, Caribbean Development Bank, 1970, income tax, 1974, housing authority.
