compilation of the statutes of the Colony of Natal from the years 1845 to 1899, inclusive, with footnotes, and with an appendix containing the acts of 1900:
Vol. 1–3, variously paginated, 1845–99, Pietermaritzburg, P. Davis & Sons, 1900–02. (This work is difficult to use in the printed version and even more
so online. All three volumes are organized alphabetically by subject, with separate pagination for each subject heading; as is the index, found at the
end of Vol. 3. Given this, as an aid to the reader, all of the images online have been ”tagged” alphabetically, including the index. The page numbers
found in the index will provide at least some guidance to the user as to how many images have been devoted to a given subject. A supplement for this
compilation covering the period 1900–06, by the same editors, was published in London by A. & F. Hitchins in 1907. LLMC is seeking the gift or loan of
a scanable copy of that supplement for addition to this title.)
