Republic of Nicaragua. The original text was published in La Gaceta, No. 235, of November 6,1950. Amendments were published in La Gaceta, No.86 of April
21,1955 and Decree No. 438 in La Gaceta" No.196 of August 29, 1959. The amendments which repealed the previous amendment of Article 186 are
incorporated in the text. In enacting the amendments of 1955, a new Article 126 was added and the former Article 126 became Article 127. No provision was made to
change the numbering and two articles have the number No. 127. The table of contents is located at the beginning of the constitution.)
