April 22, 1835 Expoición sobre cambiamento de la Constitución federal (Exhibition on change of the federal Constitution). Of note, this constitution
was passed in 1834, after the overthrow of the Mexican Empire of Agustin de Iturbide. In the new constitution, the republic took the name of United
Mexican States, and was defined as a representative federal republic, with Catholicism as the official religion. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
