H.G. MacDonnell and Nelson Hancock, vi +112 +xvi p., Dublin, Hodges and Smith, 1846. ( Report of the case of Denis Caulfield Heron who eventually
became an Irish lawyer and senior legal adviser to the English Crown. This report involves a celebrated hearing at Trinity College when he was declared a
scholar, but not allowed to attend the college because he was a Roman Catholic. The decision in the case, which was adjudicated by the Archbishop of
Dublin and the Primate of Ireland, was that he should remain excluded from Scholarship. The report was written by two of the counsel in the case. The
appendix includes a statement of the Board in relation to Scholars' Memorial to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.)
