Regulations for Applications for Tribal Funds Under Act of March 2, 1907 (34 Stat. L. 1221). 4p. The document includes provisions from the act of
March 2, 1907 authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to designate Indians to be capable of managing his or her affairs and to pay an allotment of
tribal or trust funds, provided that such Indian has made an application therefor; and to distribute shares or portions to tribal trust funds to disabled
or elderly Indians “under such rules, regulations and conditions as [the Secretary] may prescribe”; and regulations in three sections: I, Competent
Indians; II, Applicants who are Blind, Crippled, Decrepit, or Helpless from Old Age, Disease or Accident; and III, In General (regarding applications
and allotments). The regulations were released by Acting Commissioner R. G. Valentine; and approved to take effect April 1, 1909, by Secretary R. A.
Ballinger.
