Treatise entitled "The German and Austrian Systems of Land Registry and Their Application to England," by Edmund Kell Blyth and published in 1897, in
London, by Stevens and Sons, Ltd. The author discussed whether the current system of transferring land by by written deeds passing between the
parties should be replaced by the German system using entries made by public officials in books kept in public register offices. The author favored the
current method and this pamphlet explained his concerns and conclusions.
